A day around the Sirhowy River.

This fine Sunday saw me and my photographer friend Matthew Broadhead travelling to South Wales to look into the effects of a chemical dump by Monsanto in the 1970s. We started researching this thing recently and have found there’s a whole world of stuff going on, and it’s all ultimately a result of post-industrialism in the area.

There’s going to be something at the end of this, perhaps an article, perhaps a full length book; we don’t know.

But here are some photographs I took.
